OUR STORY

Cartier For Flowers was a dream come true for Alma Chan when she took it over more than 28 years ago. The business was part of Parnell’s institution for many decades but now resides on Teed Street Newmarket. With well over 70

years of history, Cartier For Flowers is believed to be the oldest florist in existence in Auckland and, possibly, in New Zealand too. Under Alma’s influence, we have won many awards over the years and also have been voted as a part of the Top 5 Florists by Denizen for 2019/2020

We love to challenge ourselves in our creative work.  We certainly did this when we created the largest floral display installation in New Zealand when we helped Smith and Caughey's celebrate the 125th Anniversary of their Queen Street Store in July 2005 and then for the relaunch of their Newmarket Store the following year.

Over the years, we have enjoyed making special flower dreams come true for many brides, personal celebrations and milestones.  Our present team has a combined experience in floristry for over 55 years.
